Mannomann. Retrospektiv betrachtet ein brutal üppiges Jahr. Sehr geile Scheiben, sehr krasse (negativ und positiv) Erinnerungen. Einiges davon hat mir ein Jahr später meine Zeit in München versüßt, quasi der Soundtrack zum süßen Leben. Hatte beim Listenbasteln eben einige Flashbacks und Freudentränchen. Autofahrten, Abrissparties, Größenwahn, Praxissemester mit Gleitzeit bis 12(!), Abrissparties, Tanzen im Klub, Jahrhundertsoße, Jahrhundertsommer, schwimmen, laue Nächte, freudetrunken bis morgens die Stadt erkunden, Musik überall Musik, Abrissparties, Tanzen im Freien, "looking back it was Easy, easy, easy - ohoh yeah yeah", ...

Schon wahnsinn, was da alles los war! Die Songs for the Deaf z.B., die ich im Plattenstrang just noch gefeiert hab, nur auf 16. Weil halt 15 noch wichtiger waren.
Ich kann nicht glauben, dass niemand meine Nr 1 hat? Hätt ich ja schon erwartet bei einigen. Roots und Chili Peppers auch niemand?
für die roots gilt in etwa das gleiche wie für broken social scene. siehe 2003er-strang. da sind sie dann auch in meinen listen enthalten. und mit den chili peppers konnte ich noch nie besonders viel anfangen.
Dann steige ich jetzt langsam auch mal ein. Und ich beschränke mich auf 10 Alben … praktischer Vorteil: alle vergessenen Alben können bequem auf der 11 stehen

Tja ... diesmal kann ich keine Top 50 erstellen, da ich anscheinend insgesamt nur 44 aus dem Jahr habe. Zieht man den Ramsch ab, bleiben nur 30. Die Songs waren grossartig, sie ist nur dumpf abgemischt gewesen, das hat oberflächlich das Erlebnis getrübt. Das haben sie auch selbst gemerkt, denn es gibt seit ein paar Jahren eine transparenter klingende Remix-Version.
