Höchst unoriginelles Album, jeden Ton so schon unglaublich oft gehört. Und dennoch kann ich mich dem Charme dieser rohen Platte nicht entziehen. Produziert hat das Album der Parquet Courts Produzent Austin Brown und das hört man in jedem Moment. Teilweise wurde scheinbar sogar Equipment verwendet, was die anderen New Yorker auch schon verwendet haben. Es gibt so viele Parallelen bei diesem PostPunk. Der ganze Sound eben, der Gesang, dieses etwas Hochnäsige was die Parquet Courts auch umweht. Aber Bodega sind gut ...
