Ich habe das Gefühl, wenn ich die Titel so lese, dass das kein gutes Musikjahr gewesen ist. Ich erinnere mich kaum an etwas Bleibendes, und die wenigen Platten, die mir bei euren Listen auffallen, sind auch nicht das Gelbe vom Ei. Oder wie seht ihr das?
Naja. Surfer Rosa und Daydream Nation, so übel kann es also nicht gewesen sein. Dazu noch My Bloody Valentine - Isn’t Anything und Galaxie 500 - Today. Thanks to Mr. Bronkowitz, durch den auch Boogie Down Productions - By all means necessary auf meiner Liste zu finden wäre.
Mir reicht das für ein gutes Jahr!

1988 ist eins meiner liebsten. hab mich da recht schwer getan, überzählige rauszuwerfen. immerhin war das das blütejahr des sst-labels (hier in der liste vertreten durch fIREHOSE, dinosaur jr., sylvia juncosa, sister double happiness), es gab die ersten wirklich guten shoegaze/dreampop-alben (a.r. kane, my bloody valentine, house of love, ultra vivid scene), hip hop legte noch weiter zu und es gibt mit daydream nation, surfer rosa und it takes a nation of millions drei insel-platten.
