Deutlich stärker als das Vorjahr. Was auch damit zusammenhängt, dass ich ab 1997 immer intensiver Musik hörte und somit auch mehr Bands kennenlernte. Die Rangfolge festzulegen fiel sehr schwer. Die Hellacopters setzten sich dann mit ihrem rotzig-groovigen Monster knapp durch. Schweinerock at its best!
Aber auch die Plätze 2 - 7 (mindestens) sind Alben für die Ewigkeit. Devin Townsend war 1997 ja auch mit Strapping Young Lad am Start, aber Ocean Machine war mit seiner tollen Atmosphäre dann doch mehr mein Ding.
"Geheim"tipps: Alt Rock & Power Pop-Affine hören die Plätze 11 - 13, wer es hart und düster groovend mag, die Plätze 14 & 15.

Wundert mich ja, dass in deiner schönen Liste für das Jahr 1997 folgendes Album und das sich darauf befindliche Kleinod keine Berücksichtigung findet, obwohl das Thema dich vielleicht interessieren könnte.

Irgendwas rutscht einem ja immer durch. Nach dem ersten Hören ist mir das momentan einen Tick zu ruhig. Vielleicht teste ich das nochmal in ein paar Monaten an. Danke jedenfalls für die Empfehlung!
