Dieses zwischen den beiden Musick to Play in the Dark Platten entstandene Album kannte ich bislang nicht. Es dröhnt aber ganz angenehm. Und das Geklöppel beim zweiten Track dürfte dem Shackleton auch gefallen. Ich glaub ich muss hier zuschlagen

zu John Martyn - One World: hast du mal die unterschiedlichen Abmischungen gehört? Ich kenne nur den 'UK Mix'.

On first release the album had two quite different mixdowns. They are often referred to as the 'UK' and the 'US' mixes although the reality is slightly more complex:
Mix #1) known as the 'US Mix' appeared on the original US, Canadian and Italian vinyl pressings.
Mix #2) known as the 'UK Mix' appeared on all other UK and European vinyl pressings.

@Cohle : Ich hab keine Ahnung was ich hier höre. Ein Freund hat mir einen Ordner mit John Martyn-mp3s gegeben. Bisher kannte ich nur "London Conversation" "Bless the Weather" und "Solid Air". Also hör ich mich die nächsten Tage einfach mal quer durch den Rest der älteren Sachen.
