Nearly every song on the album contains some sort of experimental or avant-garde quality. "Por Ella", for example, contains a recital of a short story and a loud instrumental rock song playing simultaneously, with the former on the left speaker channel and the latter on the right. "Palome Blanca" is distinguishable for its distorted guitar solos and prominent use of feedback.

The record's lyrics vary from themes of drug use and sexual references (such as fellatio and orgies), including the song "La Nave del Olvido", about a transsexual woman's botched lobotomy, and the title track "Hey", which describes the use of amphetamine.

Danke für die Info! Ich denke ich habe mich beim Spiel richtig entschieden.
Aber ich wurde auch noch nie von einer Julio Iglesias Platte enttäuscht.

The Fireworks - Switch Me On (LP)
Fuzzpop mit meist weiblichem Gesang (von Emma Hall, ex-Pocketbooks, wohl auch im Team des Indietracks Festivals, jedenfalls gingen die Überweisungen immer an sie), ähnlich den Manhattan Love Suicides oder der ganz frühen Phase der Primitives. Sowas gefällt mit ja immer, so auch hier. Wirklichhängengeblieben ist aber kein Song.



Stanley Brinks and The Wave Pictures - Berlin/It’s Complicated (7")
Sowohl Stanley Brinks als auch die Wave Pictures veröffentlichen so viel, dass kein normaler Mensch mit dem Anhören mitkommt. Meine Stichproben haben mich allerdings nie enttäuscht. Hier das Artwork des Jahres (von Stanley Brinks), auf der A-Seite ein mitsing-Hit, auf der B-Seite eher minimalistisches Akustikgitarrengeklampfe.

Der Rest von Björks "Vulnicura Remix Series" ist nunmehr auch eingetroffen.
